Tim used to be in the bathroom remodeling business and he saw a lot of bath tub overflow drains in those days. He did some closer inspections and found that the overflow drain gaskets were old and dry rotted. That allowed water to seep out from behind the overflow drain and down the surface of the tub, making the stain he saw so often while he was on the job.
Tim knew if he could just fix this problem with bathtub overflow drains he would be helping a lot of people and he may just be able to retire on that single idea. Naturally he set out to do just that. He spent a lot of money and man hours coming up with different prototypes he thought would work but didn’t work well enough. Then in 2008 he finally got it right with what he calls the ultimate overflow gasket.
The ultimate overflow gasket is a single rubber gasket that extends down into the drain pipe allowing any overflow water to drain all the way into the pipe. It’s very easy to install by unscrewing the old overflow drain plate, inserting the ultimate overflow gasket, re-installing the original overflow plate, and you’re done.
