13 Years Young, Skye Marie the principal writer of (How To Talk To Teens) is well beyond her years in wisdom. While many other 13 year olds are doing unimaginable things. She is level headed and solid in her thinking. She is not a supergirl from another planet. She gets tempted just like other teenagers. She just handles it like an adult and decided to bring the problems that teens have with their parents in an open forum. She helps parents understand what teenagers feel and experience in various situation in their lives. She makes it easy for parents to handle difficult problems with their teens. She gives parents a glimpse into the almost impossible to penetrate mind of the teenager. The best way I can describe this book, is it helps parents to rethink their actions towards their teenage sons and daughters. This of course gives parents a tremendous advantage when trying to handle some of the most difficult situations with their children. For instance she explains how to handle teenagers that stay out all night, as well as teens that are sneeking around having sex, it really covers some of the most difficult problems parents have. Skye Marie explained to me that a teenager is like an ant, "we don't really know what an ant feels or how an ant thinks, unless we become an ant. Then we can know how they feel, think and live. The same with a teenager, I help parents understand how teenagers, feel, think, and live. No one is better qualified to tell you how a teenager feels except a teenager" I understood clearly what that meant, parents who were teenagers decades ago can not understand clearly what today's teenagers are going through. This book tells you everything you need to know to tap into the same level of communication that teens are on. Skye Marie also teaches you how to improve your relationship with your teenage son or daughter. Thus saving them from a laundry list of lifelong problems. I recommend this book to everyone who wants to be a better person and parent to their children. Skye Marie has rare talent and I think very shortly Hollywood will come calling. The plans she has not only with this book but with other things is mindboggling for someone so young, I submit to you Hollywood will not have to do much. Skye Marie has personality, she is very likeable and extremely well mannered. To top it all off she looks like Angelina Jolie when she was young. Hey Bradjoleina, you can't adopt Skye Marie her parents are not giving her up.
