President-Elect Barack Obama’s national call to service has inspired Obama supporters in Bowie to continue their community organizing efforts and help President-Elect Obama implement the change needed to improve our Nation’s economy, healthcare system, education system, environment, and more… “Bowie for Obama choose to serve our community by organizing a clothing, food, and school supplies drive for homeless families in Prince George’s County, MD. We selected this particular project because Prince George’s County has seen a tremendous increase in homelessness due to the increase in foreclosures. We hope our efforts provides relief to families in need” states Musa Murawih, Bowie for Obama Administrator.
Bowie for Obama was formed in February 2007 to help elect Senator Barack Obama for president.
