Portland, Oregon, –- The Pacific Northwest’s favorite post-punk outfit, The Prids, announce that they're heading back out on the road, following their nearly fatal tour mishap last summer.
On July 20th 2008, The Prids were en-route to Los Angeles for a performance. A tire blowout on the freeway resulted in the band’s van rolling multiple times, smashing up all of its contents, including the group’s four members and two others. Although everyone was injured to varying degrees, they all somehow survived, much to the surprise of the California Highway Patrol.
Through immense support and donations from their fans, The Prids managed to piece their equipment back together, and purchase a new tour van. And although their hospital bills remain well into the six-digits, the band is in great form, and is currently finishing their follow up to 2006's
