Santa Monica Based Business Referral Group to Host Mixer January 21st

Jan. 12, 2009 - PRLog -- My neighbor mentions that he's thinking of taking advantage of the depressed real estate market to buy an investment property.  I tell him that I have a friend who is a dynamite real estate agent, and ask if I can give the agent my neighbor's number.  He says, "Sure.  Why not!"  

This simple transaction happens millions of times a day across America.  We are all looking for good referrals so that we have some confidence in selecting a new product or service provider.  And most of us are happy to refer those whom we feel have earned a solid endorsement.  

LeTip International has 50,000 business owners and professionals who meet weekly to pass these kinds of referrals much more intentionally.  Each member learns all he can about the others in the chapter, so that they can refer them with confidence to friends, neighbors, and associates in business.

Jordan Hoffman is President of the LeTip Santa Monica Breakfast Club which meets at the Best Western at Santa Monica Blvd and 20th St each Wednesday morning at 7:00.  He has personally seen the profits flow into his acupuncture practice as a result of his membership in LeTip:  "I have found that active participation in this LeTip chapter has resulted in more new patients than any other marketing approach I have tried.  In addition, I have made many friends, and have had the pleasure of helping their businesses grow through my given them endorsements."

Hoffman goes on to explain the mixer:  "We are holding a mixer on January 21st during our regular meeting time, and have invited almost 200 local business owners and other professionals to join us for breakfast.  We extend that invitation to the entire business community as an opportunity to learn how we generate so much business for our members.  

"We encourage everyone attending to bring at least 50-100 business cards with them.  Everyone attending will have a chance to network that morning with existing and potential members of our chapter.
