LA County, multi-unit property owners with 3.5+ gallon toilets can reduce their water bills as much as 30% or more with a free toilet replacement program that also offers free installation.
The program is available to commercial or residential property owners of apartments, and condos, as well as hotels, condos, college dormitories, convalescent homes, film campuses and others. To qualify, applicants must have a minimum of TEN, 3.5-gallon (or higher), water-wasting toilets, PER water bill / address.
Applicants without 3.5-gallon toilets, or with fewer than ten units should not call or bother to apply.
California is in a drought and wants everyone to save water. So through 2009 ONLY, they’ve created a program that allows Buy And Large, Inc. (freetoiletreplacement.com)
HOW DO YOU KNOW If YOU HAVE 3.5-GALLON TOILETS?
• Flush them. If they seem to flush endlessly, you have a 3.5-gallon toilet If it doesn’t take anytime to flush, you have a 1.6-gallon.
• If your toilets are pink or blue or tinted a color, they're 3.5-gallon
•If you have a smaller toilet that says, TOTO, you have a 1.6

The following is all that's required to apply:
1. Water Bills for the property
2. The FULL name on the water bill
3. The FULL address where the toilet installation will occur
(many bills come without a full address, or no name)
4. Property owner’s name, phone number and address
(So that we may call them to arrange the installation)
5.Property manager’s name & phone number.
6. Total number of 3.5+ gallon toilets you have
7. Total number of 1.6-gallon toilets
8. Year property was built
9. Any toilet renovations in the past 15 years?
10. Elongated or round toilets?
11. Do you have a vanity or shelf behind/above your toilets?
The total turn-around from application to installation is usually 3 weeks.
We install up to 80 toilets a day.
WHAT KIND OF TOILETS ARE THEY?
• We have Ayers brand elongated toilets, and Vorten’s or Crane round toilets
• Both are handicapped or ADA compliant
• We supply round toilets for units that are older and don’t have room for an elongated toilet, or odd units that have a vanity running behind the toilet. Let us know if you have a special circumstance
• ALL toilet parts inside and out are standard and can be replaced at any Home Depot or Hardware store

We have a licensed, certified contractor that installs your free toilets, free.
FREE REMOVAL OF OLD TOILETS!
Trash costs money, and WE pay for it. We take away your old toilets, FREE of charge.
SO YOU HEARD THOSE OLD WATER-SAVING TOILETS DON’T WORK!
• That’s why California won’t use them any more!
• We use a 1.28 High Efficiency Toilets as mandated by the California Governor.
They have a rim washer and a powerful flush. Unlike the 1.6's, the new 1.28's WORK!
•If you have 1.6’s be certain to tell us up-front, because when the inspector comes, they’ll find them.

• We’ve replaced over 5,000, 3.5-gallon toilets with our 1.28-gallon high-efficiency toilets for well-known hotel brands, colleges and universities as well as care facilities and entire cities.
• If you have 30+ units, we are happy to do a “test” or “pilot toilet” installation in a manager’s or other preferred unit. We have never once installed a test toilet and not had the client choose to go forward with the installation.
