ELTON John's a fan and now Swansea band The Storys are heading home for a gig celebrating their Welsh heritage.
The six-piece group have been booked in to play at the Brangwyn Hall on Friday February 26 at 7.30pm in the build-up to St David's Day.
Comparisons with bands such as The Eagles have seen The Storys win many admirers since their inception in 2003 thanks to their country rock sound influenced by America's 1970s west coast music scene.
The band has already had singles in the UK Top 40, has seen their videos regularly requested on TV and has even appeared on Top of the Tops.
Group member Steve Balsamo is also recognised for performing in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar after beating off thousands to land the role.
Tracy Ellicott, Swansea Council's Brangwyn Hall Manager, said: "We're delighted to confirm that The Storys will be performing a one-off gig at the Brangwyn to celebrate Saint David’s Week in Swansea.
"Their musical style appeals to a wide variety of people and the concert will make it a night to remember."
Andy Collins, Rosalie Deighton, Brian Thomas, Rob Thompson and Steve Balsamo make up The Storys.
