Mumbai : The latest trend in Bollywood Filmmaking is its newfound seriousness about visual effects (VFX) that involves extensive detailing about VFX right from scripting to the post-production stage. Producers such as Eros, one of new corporates in Bollywood, in addition to Reliance ADAG, Studio18, UTV and Percept, demand strict review of the work in progress, which means animation or visual effects heavy films can’t be in the making for an endless period of time. Furthermore, with increasing competition from Hollywood, the Indian film industry is lapping up VFX even if it means a bigger budget for the movie. Moreover, the VFX used these days are so advance and brilliant, that viewers don’t even realize that animation was used in a particular scene.

This program is aimed at providing a learning opportunity for beginners exposing them to opportunities & growth in Visual Effects in the Animation industry. This program would help prospective students to understand the concepts of Visual Effects from the initial aspects of Pre-Production, live shoot and Post-production, reels presentations, taking examples from movies and inter-relating the techniques of motion graphics, Chroma Keying, masking etc.
This would essentially be a 4 day hands on exercise with 1 day dedicated for showcasing mind-blowing VFX works across the Globe in order to inter-relate the 4 days work they have done.
This entire 5 Day Program will be carried out at Frameboxx centers in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, Aurangabad, Indore & Bhopal from 19th January 2009 onwards, starting every Monday for a period of 4 weeks.
