Now that the buzz of the holiday season is dying down, it’s time to get back to business at USA SEO Pros. The numbers are in for 2008, and it was another year of growth for the company.
The second half of 2008 saw a growth of over 37 percent in sales compared to the second half of the previous year. This was helped by the hiring of six additional IT professionals during the same period who have improved the functioning of the SEO system.
Development manager Steve Phillips has directed a team of search engine optimization technicians and development professionals as they tweak the programming and client interface.
“It’s nice to see our hard work translating into good numbers for the company,” Phillips said. “We have worked hard to make the system better for our clients and improve their overall experience.”
Perhaps the greatest indication of this company’s strength is their impressive growth in the fourth quarter of 2008. Despite the terrible economic news that swept across the nation, USA SEO Pros posted a 21 percent growth in sales quarter over quarter.
The company also added over 10 positions to their back office to help manage the growth.
“We have been quite busy this year,” manager Steve Howe said. “Thanks both to our sales department, and the improvements made by our development guys, business has been good despite the economy. We have hired some talented individuals and 2009 should be another great year.”
As more and more people are laid off across the country, they are increasingly turning to home businesses. Search engine optimization is often used by small business owners as a form of advertising, so USA SEO Pros may have another record setting year on its hands.
One thing is certain here. Despite a downturn in the economy, there are still businesses out there able to grow and provide opportunities to others.
