FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PR Log (Press Release) –
Jan 06, 2009 – Today the Joyner-Walker Foundation, Inc. endorsed the Financial Intelligence Network, an organization that delivers low cost, easy access financial education to adults using a collection of self-paced courses, video seminars, articles, checklists, and audio interviews that helps people become financially literate.
Seth Joyner said "The Joyner-Walker Foundation is dedicated to helping the emerging generation of adults get a great start in life. Unfortunately most adults never had the advantage of being equip with the financial literacy training we provide. The Financial Intelligence Network delivers a low cost financial education to adults which otherwise does not exist. If adults invest even just a little time in their financial education every month, they will improve the quality of their future, both for themselves and their families". The Joyner-Walker Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded by Super Bowl champion Seth Joyner, professional golfer and NCAA champion Andy Walker and his brother Leonard Walker. The organization is dedicated to providing life skill programs to assist high school and college students in a way to prosper and be self-sufficient. # # # Financial literacy is undefined. Are we financially literate knowing how to balance a checkbook, knowing the difference between a checking account and savings account, and knowing about something called a budget? No. That's just the beginning. So where do you learn about the things that will make you financially literate? There's no one place, until now.
