Innalabs Holding Inc., a leading researcher and manufacturer of inertial systems and sensors for aviation, land and marine applications, have obtained results of independent Al-15 test hold at The Pennsylvania State University.
The objective of this test was to characterize and assess the performance of two single-axis linear accelerometers AL-15 developed by Innalabs. The test results obtained for both AL-15 accelerometers are similar and meet the provided sensor data sheets specification except for the bias value of AL-15-102.
Along with Innalabs Al-15 data was also collected and results provided for another world-famed accelerometer. Two Innalabs accelerometers’

About Innalabs® Accelerometers
The Innalabs® Accelerometers are designed as closed-loop pendulous accelerometers with a metallic sensing element (SE), a differential photo-optic displacement sensor (DS) of the SE, and a magneto-electric reverse compensational transducer (RCT).
The Innalabs® Accelerometers make use of a metallic (bronze) sensing element, which provides improved shock and vibration resistance as compared to the quartz based technologies, a feature important to land vehicle applications. The output of the accelerometers is an analog voltage that is proportional to the acceleration. The zero signal adjustment capability of the differential optical angle transmitter makes it possible to reduce the bias to the minimum. Also, an internal temperature sensor makes it possible to utilize a temperature compensation algorithm to improve the accelerometers performance over a wide temperature range.
Innalabs® Accelerometers have Input range ±2.5, ±30, and ±60 g, Bias < 4 mg, Scale Factor 1.2…1.5 mA/g.
