The Kindness Cure Social Networking Site Reaches 200 Members

Since its launch in November, www.thekindnesscure.org gains members rapidly as 2009 begins

Jan. 5, 2009 - PRLog -- The Healing Tree Foundation’s Kindness Cure Campaign and its social networking website, www.thekindnesscure.org, have reached 200 members in the two months since its launch.  With members from all over the world including Africa, Europe, and Australia, the Kindness Cure is making an international impact.

“I always know this could be a global phenomenon, because kindness knows no borders,” said CJ Scarlet, president and founder of both The Healing Tree Foundation and the Kindness Cure Campaign.  “However, I never thought we would have this many members from all over the world this quickly!”

Some examples of acts the Kindness Cure has performed include making donations to the Salvation Army, the Raleigh Rescue Mission, and the homeless, as well as cooking for loved ones, making cards for the elderly, and giving cookies to the mailman.  All acts are filmed and featured on www.thekindnesscure.org, on YouTube at www.youtube.com/thekissrevolution, and on MyNC.com to show viewers examples of kindness they can spread in their own community.  As a result of the postings, members of the Kindness Cure are actively sharing their own stories of how kindness has transformed their lives.  In addition, members are posting blogs and videos of the kindness acts they are performing on their own.
