Steve Flockhart is the lead pastor of New Season Church which started on February 17, 2008 with the efforts of Pastor Steve and 40 other people. New Season Church is not only culturally relevant but is also exciting, powerful, and biblically faithful.
According to Steve Flockhart, everyone who wants to experience a new beginning in their lives is welcome at New Season Church. It's a place where one can heal from past mistakes, failure, disappointment and loss, and experience a new beginning.
What makes people feel comfortable at New Season Church is the relaxed, casual atmosphere. The music is contemporary, and visitors feel comfortable and are welcome in anything from casual to jeans, shorts and t-shirts. We want people to feel comfortable to come as they are – they don't have to get ‘dressed up' for church according to Steve Flockhart.
The sermons delivered by Steve Flockhart are motivating and inspiring and the message is delivered clearly and creatively. Pastor Steve's sermons are inspiring, faith building, and offer hope to people with any kind of life challenge. New Season Church has something for everyone, including Bible Fellowship Groups (BFGs) that help people connect with others while studying God's word. People meet other people in similar life issues be it a divorce, marriage, blended family, finances, or just people studying God's word together. There are also groups just for men, women, students, and kids groups meet during the same time.
New Season Church has childcare available during Sunday worship services and on Wednesdays, when most BFGs meet. Additional BFG groups include Making the Most of Marriage, Making Kids Mind Without Losing Your, Experiencing God, Financial Peace, Purpose Driven Life and many more. Most groups meet on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Wednesday of every month.
Xstatic, is the New Season Church kid's ministry for 1st through 5th graders. It is absolutely exploding with hundreds of kids attending over the last 10 months to find out that Jesus loves them and has a awesome plan for their lives. The same is happening in Radiate, the student ministry for 6th to 12th graders. Steven Moreland, the youth pastor, is excited about what is happening at New Season Church in Hiram, Georgia. Thanks to the leadership and vision of Steve Flockhart, and many others, students in this area have a place to connect, grow in faith, and figure life out as they navigate through their teen years.
