The unTV Network is ready to take on the competition with fresh working concepts that make sense and with an operating plan that is depression proof.
“Now that phones and PDA’s are reaching 3G and beyond, we took the last 6 months to revamp all our network systems and content delivery platforms to engage this booming market segment,” said Rich Granville, Creator and CEO of the unTV Network.
He continues, “Jack9.com, the first and only IPTV site to exceed 1 million in revenue without User Generated Content (UGC) of any kind. We broke up J9 into individual channels by domain and genre. Ad dollars are going to be tuff to find this year and into 2010, many destination sites are going to get hit hard. We believe our new format will give advertisers a much more dramatic “in theme” ad impression. These ads are delivered in content stream by traditional banner and/or rich media commercial spots. This will be the hot ticket for mobile phones and PDAs.”
“Basically to define unTV, it is technology driven network TV just like CBS, ABC and FOX, but in musically inspired shorts (4-7 minutes) with commerical breaks running 10 to 30 seconds in length. Everything including content is pulled from a very unique database system for maximum operating cost efficiency. I want computers running things not costly people. We have a depression proof business and we can weather the storm as many of our competitors will not. The lack of IPO’s has killed funding sources for internet companies, many big names will go down in 09 as these CEOs hope in one hand and watch their company crumble in the other. There is a total lack of managment in business today; all you have to do is watch the news. Bottom line don't be a Yang or you will get Yanged",added Mr. Granville.
“TV time is giving way to the mobile phone, that is true and content delivery is more than just a “Re-Run” opportunity for creative minds. Hulu.com, Youtube.com and others do not own content, so what’s the asset. If you think eyeballs, a single brand and mediocre code is the asset, I have some water front property in New Orleans I’d like to sell you. Jack9.com had more the 60 million unique visitors in 6 months. Getting eyeballs is easy if you know how to get them and now the price of outbound marketing is much cheaper due to massive deflation in costs (CPM) across the board,” Granville continued.
Mr. Granville concluded with this statement, “Yahoo, Google, IAC, My Space and Facebook still do not have an effective network television division. They lack the minds to create, develop, code and deliver anything more than “Re-Run” TV and UGC. The world is looking for new brands, fresh ideas and approaches; not business as usual. Mark Z. is one of the few bright spots with Facebook. I like what he has done, but there is always someone coming up like ning.com, with it's skinable social net platform. Ning.com will be a sure fire contender for Facebook in 09 and beyond as My Space dies a slow death like Friendster, which is basically reborn in concept by Myyearbook.com another cute "up and coming" site in my opinion.”
