PRLog (Press Release) - Jan 06, 2009 -
So what is EveryDay Life? Is it a comedy or as Taj Longino of HYPE Magazine Radio stated “this may be the funniest book ever written”. Yes EveryDay Life is very funny, but as Ghostwriter Literary Review stated “it only enhances the seriousness of their discussions”. This book tales the tales that haven’t been told before or as one reviewer puts it “delving into uncharted territories”. Hardie’s technique of writing is a stimulating departure from the typical fiction or non-fiction work so much in fact that EveryDay Life straddles multiple genres and “set’s a new literary standard” as another reviewer remarked about it.

The complexity in explaining exactly what EveryDay Life has to offer the reader has everything to due with the fact that there really is nothing similar to it, or as Conversations Book Club expressed it “the book is a mixture of THE WOOD, THE BEST MAN mixed in with the drama of your favorite Tyler Perry play”. Those proclamations should be enough to get a sense of EveryDay Life, but somehow they may not quite let everyone know what EveryDay Life is, this is The Clarion Ledger’s attempt at description “life of ordinary men who are faced with extraordinary challenges who have to look outside of themselves to find a way to deal with those challenges”. It is likely that African American’s on the Move had a handle on it when they said that “Each page is filled with truth, passion, and reality”. These are merely some of the quotes used to describe EveryDay Life.

Possibly the academic arena can place a more intellectual spin on what EveryDay Life has offers its readers, Professor Utley said “I loved how you mixed humor with very savvy socio-political messages”. I think we have gotten close to what EveryDay Life had in store for these readers, but what does it have in store for you or as book reviewer Danelle Drake said “The characters taught me more than I could ever imagine”. Words such as, Profound, enlightening, entertaining, compelling are quite used to capture the emotional aspect of EveryDay Life. Perhaps EveryDay Life’s understanding can be put in no simpler terms than that of its most recent review from Reader Views “You see to the souls of these individuals; while making you laugh, they make you cry”.

EveryDay Life is a new contemporary piece of urban literature. And it is out everywhere. EveryDay Life is bound to spawn copy-cats but remember that MG Hardie was the first to allow Hip Hip to be Read with EveryDay Life.
