Jan. 3, 2009 - PRLog -- Mumbai, 27th December ’08: Saturday evening saw the galaxy of stars descent at ‘J W Marriott’ in Mumbai to witness the launch of “Fact Miss Teen India Contest 2009’’. This contest is brought to you by Fact Enterprises Ltd. with a noble vision to discover young talent and promote them on a National level. This pageant promises to be grand not only in terms of scale and reach but also in terms of vision and purpose, creating various opportunities for young teenagers across the country. This pageant aims to discover & screen young ambitious Indian talent and give them a platform to showcase their talent, beauty, personality, social & intellectual skills to the rest of the World. Speaking on the occasions Mr. Rajiv Kashyap - Chairman & Managing Director of Fact Enterprise Limited said; “With young talent hidden all across the Country, very little has been done to discover & nurture them.  We took this opportunity to help & discover young Indian talent to come forward and take centre stage. This contest would truly be a means to achieve their dreams and give them an opportunity to prove their mettle. For the first time a pageant of such a grand vision and magnitude will be held in the country. The Final contest is scheduled to be held in May 2009.”

Nationwide auditions will be held in Kolkatta, Mumbai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Chandigard, hyderabad and Lucknow across Schools & colleges having candidates in the age group of 15 to 19. After the extensive screening, 40 contestants would be shortlisted & brought to Mumbai for the Grand Finale. The shortlisted candidates would undergo relentless training along with grooming workshops mentored and guided by the best and the most renowned professionals in the Industry.

Various sub contests would be held under several categories including; Miss Beautiful Hair, Miss Beautiful Skin, Miss Beautiful Eyes, Miss Beautiful Smile, Miss Beautiful Attire, Miss Techno Savvy, Miss Congeniality, Miss Traditional Queen, Miss Fact Face, Miss Photogenic, Miss Talented, Miss Personality & Miss Dancing Queen.

The winners of the “Fact Miss Teen India Contest 2009’’ will be selected by luminaries from diverse fields, at a grand show, hosted by Fact Enterprises Ltd.  The final contestant will be awarded 11 lakhs + sponsor gift + 1 year modeling contract. The 1st Runner up will be awarded 7 lakhs + sponsor gift. The 2nd Runner up will be awarded 5 lakhs + sponsor gift. The special evening, which will be held to celebrate the culmination of its search will be an evening packed with action and fun. A fashion extravaganza, where the contestants will walk down the ramp in designer ensemble, will be accompanied by entertainment and music shows.
