Charm Comes To The White House

Jan. 2, 2009 - PRLog -- WASHINGTON, DC (December 29, 2008): Charles Schwartz and Son Jewelers, Washington’s oldest jeweler with locations downtown and in Upper North West, announces their new and exclusive line of handcrafted White House charms, available for the 2009 Inauguration. In addition to a White House charm, charms of the Capitol and of the Washington Monument will also be available at their two locations and via phone order.

Both the White House and Capitol charms are available in large and smaller sizes, while the Washington Monument is available in a 1” h. Each charm is cast in white or yellow gold and range in price from $375 for the Washington Monument to $1056 for the large white gold White House charm.

Known for their custom jewels, Charles Schwartz and Son has also created the 2009 Inaugural Ball jewelry collection. Spelling the name of our president elect in diamonds and available as both a brooch and necklace, the piece is available as a 2.53 carat or a 4.58 carat piece.

“The collection came about when a client and prominent Obama fundraiser, came to us with the request for a special piece to wear on her Inaugural ball gown,” explains Paul Pastor, President of Charles Schwarz and Son Jewelers. “She was looking for a keepsake that would show her support, and with our Willard Hotel store located just steps from the White House, we thought we should make this and our charms available to all to honor this monumental occasion.”

The Inaugural Ball collection ranges from $4,500 to $10,000 and is available at both locations via custom order.
