David H. Brooks is the founder of DHB Industries Inc. and has made a successful living from his exceptional education and personal history in business. Mr. Brooks  graduated from New York University  in 1976 and he is a self made businessman who created a thriving publicly traded company as well as many other business ventures that he has been involved in. In 1987, David Brooks  created a venture capital firm called Brooks Industries of Long Island.  Through this company he made venture capital investments in emerging business entities. In 1992, David acquired and began operating a protective apparel business called DHB Industries, Inc. It’s first full year of operations was in 1993 and the company’s approximated revenues were about seven million dollars. The business grew and by the early 2000’s, DHB was one of the leading protective apparel companies in America. By the year 2004 DHB Industries’ revenues had grown to over $30 million dollars. David H. Brooks was the driving force behind the growth and success of the business. DHB had been the leading supplier of body armor thou rout the major historical events that have changed the world stating with the attacks of September 11,2001. Brooks to assist War Veterans returning home  from battle. Especially now during the recent economic downfall, when many foundations are having their funds scaled back, Mr. Brooks is continuing his philanthropic ways by forging ahead in battle to help someone in need.  Not only was David an innovator in the body armor and defense industry.
