Jiva has recently entered into an agreement with ParamAyu, a health and wellness company based in Croatia, to open a Jiva Ayurveda Centre in the Croatian resort city of Opatija. The centre, to be launched this fall, will offer the range of Jiva's signature Ayurvedic therapies and Panchkarma treatments through its dedicated team of Ayurvedic doctors and therapists. This Ayurveda clinic will be housed in Hotel Opatija, overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
Additionally, this centre will also include a spa, gym, and swimming pool to cater to its guests. Hotel Opatija, where the centre will be located, already offers activities such as water sports, boating, parasailing, etc. Facilities for holding conferences and organising Ayurvedic classes will also be available in the near future.
Located in northern Croatia, Opatija has a 150-year history as a tourist destination for the European high society. It is dotted with many hotels and resorts. Opatija is well-connected to the principal seaport, Rijeka, through both rail and road.
In the last few years there has been a tremendous interest in Croatia and other east European countries as hotspots for natural healthcare. As a result, a large number of spas have come up to meet the demands of wellness and health benefits.
Opening up an Ayurvedic healthcare centre here, therefore, has enormous significance for Jiva. Also, this centre is going to be Jiva's first clinic outside India.
