Campus Town, LLC Sales Double in Tough Economic Retail Market

Dec. 31, 2008 - PRLog -- Campus Town, LLC owner Lee Pagan correctly picked the contestants for this year’s National Bowl Championship Game: University of Florida Gators and University of Oklahoma Sooners will play January 8, 2009 at Dolphin Stadium in Miami.  He is certainly happy that his prediction came true.  While other retailers have struggled, Pagan’s store Campus Town saw sales for December 2008 double sales for November 2008.  “Located in Palm Beach County with its high concentration of Gators’ alumni and fans has helped Campus Town grow quickly.  Their inclusion in the National Championship game has helped immensely.  We will probably see sales double again in January from this game ”, said Pagan.  

Ever the optimist, Pagan said “After the Gators win we will have a ton of Florida Gators’ Championship merchandise arriving all weekend.  In anticipation of the Gators win and subsequent sales spike of Championship merchandise, Campus Town is holding what they call the BCS Blowout Sale.  On Saturday January 3rd Campus Town will offer a one day only sale: $10 off all jerseys, $10 off all tailgate chairs, $10 off all hoodie sweatshirts, $5 off all polos, 2 for $20 white Sport hats, and a rack with 40% off t-shirts.  There will also be free samples from Jimmy John’s Gourmet Subs while supplies last.  At noon, the International Bowl (Buffalo vs Connecticut) will be broadcast on the store’s 65” Hi-Def television.  We need to make room for all of the new merchandise.”
