FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec 31, 2008 -
Cartersville, Atlanta, Georgia – Well, Christmas is over and the New Year is upon us.  The employees at H & R Fire and Safety hope you had a joyous and safe holiday season.  Now it’s time to think about eye safety!  Isn’t that what everybody thinks about each year when January rolls around?  Of course not, but January is National Eye care month, and H & R Fire and Safety has everything you need to keep you and your employees safe from costly eye injuries.  They carry everything from safety glasses to safety goggles; from face shields to welding helmets and everything in between.
Safety glasses have come a long way in the past few years.  No longer are they the equivalent of “optical birth control”.  Manufacturers have found that eye protection can be functional and stylish too.  Today’s glasses are lightweight and strong.  They come in a huge array of colors and styles to choose from.  If you always thought you had to sacrifice price for style, think again!  H & R Fire and Safety has clear safety glasses starting at 1.99 a pair.  They even carry lightweight safety glasses with pivoting LED lights mounted on them; perfect for working in dark or dimly lit places, plus dozens of other uses.  According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, more than 200,000 American workers suffer a work related eye injury every year.  So do your part.  Keep eye protection a priority.  Set up an appointment with your Optometrist or Ophthalmologist, and remember, take care of your eyes, they’re the only ones you have!  Find a certified safety equipment dealer near you by checking your local yellow pages, or if you live in Georgia, GAFSED (Georgia Association of Fire Safety Equipment Dealers) is the place to look.  Of course you can always contact your friends at H & R Fire and Safety at 770-382-7650 or on the web at  http://www.hrfiresafety.com for all of your safety or fire equipment needs.  Be careful this New Years Eve, and have a Happy and Prosperous 2009!
