Green Motion Gatwick, based at the Copthorne Hotel in Gatwick, opened on the 15th December 2008 and have just taken delivery of their first batch of Honda Civic Hybrid vehicles. The hybrid cars, which will form a key part in the low emissions, high MPG fleet went straight out on rent to customers looking to minimise their carbon footprint while hiring a car. Marc Lee, owner of Green Motion Gatwick, explained that throughout 2009 the company will be adding further vehicles including the Lexus GS450H, RX400H and the new Toyota Prius. “All of our vehicles are low CO2 or hybrid vehicles to ensure the minimum emissions. These hybrids offer an excellent way for clients to reduce their CO2 output without compromising on comfort or performance. When combined with our tree planting scheme and other eco efforts we believe that we offer a truly green fleet alternative in the Gatwick area.”
