Stroud Vintage On High
Hello again – we’re racing towards our first Stroud Vintage Fashion Fair of 2009 – Saturday February 7th. It promises to be our biggest yet with almost 20 sellers as I write with some new faces along with our established favourites. We have been running the fairs for just one year, but last month saw us recommended by Vogue in the December edition of the Secret Shopper Guide, Yours magazine in a special feature and the Daily Telegraph vintage update to name a few.
Now, for those of you that can’t wait for the next fair – or just can’t make February 7th – we have some fabulous news! We have opened our first High Street Shop – quite literally Stroud Vintage On High at 29 High Street, Stroud GL5 1AJ. We opened on November 22nd and judging by the crowds who flock through the door each day, we have managed to achieve the WOW factor!
Come and have a look for yourself and sample a flavour of the fairs with capsule collections of Déjà vu Vintage (40s and 50s), Lucia Flowers (Victorian to late 80s – specialising in divine kimonos), Forget Me Not Vintage with hats, bags and accessories, plus the Alexandra Cummings collection – the most wonderful Vintage costume jewellery. Drop by any day (except Monday) from 10am to 5pm and see why Vogue has recommended us.
