ADventure Promotions, a seller of USB Caps headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, has been awarded as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by the Northern Ohio Minority Business Council (NOMBC). The NOMBC, along with 39 other affiliated councils, follows all standard procedures given by the National Minority Supplier Development Council which was chartered in 1972 to provide increased business opportunities for minority owned businesses.
In order to receive this certification, 51% of the ownership of an enterprise must be operated or controlled by minorities. Regardless of the physical size of the company, minority individuals must be U.S. citizens who are Native American, Hispanic, Black, or Asian.
“We are very excited to be MBE certified with Northern Ohio Minority Business Council,” Charlotte Terry, President, said. “We feel this is definitely a milestone for our company that will provide greater opportunities for Adventure Promotions and our subsidiary RooKaps.”
Some of the benefits this MBE certification offers are networking forums with other minority-owned enterprises, vendor opportunities, workshops and an annual awards banquet.
