It's considered "the everything basketball website!" Jamaal Al-Din, a resident of Boise, Idaho remembers humble beginnings, in the community of Boise and a staple of signature giving by members of the Corpus Christi House, Inc. and staff. A thank-you for the staff of Corpus Christi House, in particular "Henry" who has been a signature of giving and the spirit of the Catholic faith, "rain sleet or snow," literally everyday, fulfilling the needs of the needy and homeless in Boise, Idaho.
In fact, Jamaal Al-din's Hoops 227, during its beginning phases of operations generated pages of initial content and website development via the Corpus Christi House and its useful computer lab.
"It was somewhat difficult, with the 1 hour limit policy, but the mere fact that computer time is available, it's a tremendous asset. Henry and the Corpus Christi, Inc. rock," said Al-Din. "Henry and the Corpus Christi, Inc. are regarded as a real community leaders and figures for those looking to find there way in the community of Boise."

In fact, look for Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 to become, almost a second media source of sorts, by uploading YouTube videos of local events and catching all the highlights of different local holiday events throughout the year in Boise.
"Essentially, what the news can't catch, I'll be there to film and place on YouTube, which will be embedded onto our website at 227," said Al-Din.
It would have been great to film the giving of food bags including Planter's Peanuts, Chick-O-Sticks, M & M's, and the traditional Corpus Christi Holiday Raffle which includes the giving of lots of fantastic prizes.
"Last year, at the raffle, I won a back-pack! It's great for carrying basketballs,"
Jamaal Al-Din played high school basketball, locally, as the state's leading scorer, at Mountain Home High School, for Ed Palubinskas who is an Olympic basketball record setter, alumni of BYU-Hawaii (formerly Ricks College) and former free throw tutor of the NBA's Shaquille O'Neal.
