Christian Book Publishing Company, Tate Publishing, announced it will hold its first competition for high school and college illustrators. Participants in the contest stand to win a total of $1850 in scholarships as well have their illustration published by Tate Publishing.
In addition, there will be an unpublished book category that offers the winner a publishing contract with Tate Publishing. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring artists to have their work exhibited in the Tate Publishing online gallery as well as be published in the 2009 Tate Illustration Catalog. The deadline for entries is January 31st, 2009.

High school and college students are welcome to submit any illustration printed or produced between January 1, 2008 and January 31st, 2009. Illustrations will be reviewed by distinguished designers, art directors, and illustrators.
