PRLog (Press Release) -
Dec 21, 2008 -
Where hast thou gone, brilliance, reason and sanity? Has a thief appeared in the night and snatched you away? With the leadership of the current administration and the unending astuteness of the Congress and House of Representative, this book couldn’t come at a better time. From the author of the highly praised, "Tick Tock, Don’t Stop: A Manual for Workaholics"
and "The Read My Lips Cookbook: A Culinary Journey of Memorable Meals," comes a book to brighten your day amid the monotony and depression of world events. A 2005 Foreword Magazine Finalist, "for seeing eye dogs only" won’t give you the location of these lost qualities, but it will give you instances in which they are nowhere to be found. It’s not a work about the CIA, FBI or KGB, but in some ways a book about the “blind.” In reality, it is a humorous look at temporary brain deficiencies. What people say and do and what you read on signs and products can be very funny. The language lends itself for our enjoyment and some comics make a successful living from it. This book does not discriminate. Actors, athletes, clergy, teachers, lawyers, politicians, technicians and criminal trainees have all been mentioned because of their behavior. People who have read it, describe it as “hysterical!”
Warning: Don’t read this book if you just had surgery. You may want to wait until the stitches are removed. For more information, including a preview of the book visit WWW.BOBCOOKS.COM
Robert S. Swiatek was a computer software consultant for over twenty years, having taught high school mathematics in New York and New Jersey before that. He was born in Buffalo, New York, and currently lives not far from the city. He loves cooking and as far as he knows, no one has perished from his culinary efforts. The same cannot be said for non-humans who have tasted his food creations, but you’ll have to read about that in his cookbook. He is a cancer survivor, so far, and chooses reading books rather than camping out in front of the television. As you might guess, he is not too happy when people do dumb things but nevertheless appreciates these happenings as fodder for another book.
Swiatek Press was incorporated in 2008. That year it published five books, including “This War Won’t Cost Much,” “Press 1 for Pig Latin,” “Take back the Earth” and “wake up – it’s time for your sleeping pill.”
