DALLAS – Alsbridge, Inc. a leading global outsourcing consultancy, played a key role in advising Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited and in facilitating its recent agreement with Electronic Data Systems (EDS).
EDS, a Hewlett-Packard company, will supply Butterfield with technology infrastructure management, application development and technical support for all Butterfield locations internationally. EDS will also implement Flexcube, a leading core banking system.
“Alsbridge has provided expert advice throughout the process,” said Wilton Dolloff, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Butterfield. “The knowledge, professionalism and hard work of their team on the ground has helped us to shape a deal with EDS [that] will enable us to improve our systems, realize significant efficiencies, and enhance our operating capabilities going forward to the benefit of all our stakeholders.”
Dolloff said the Alsbridge team “demonstrated deep expertise in IT outsourcing and systems implementation, in terms of both the technical solution and the commercial deal, which has complemented the Butterfield team and has enabled us to reach this critical milestone.”
Alsbridge CEO Ben Trowbridge said, “Our consultants helped develop goals and scope shared by the management team, communicated with providers and assessed the best cultural fit, and created the solution and transition process.”
Trowbridge said that as outsourcing has transformed into a robust industry, “today’s companies have greater financial and operational flexibility through innovative solutions. Our ideas help drive business outcomes while creating new opportunities.”
Business success depends on choosing the right solutions that make the most long-term business sense, Trowbridge said. “We create value by using proven repeatable processes, leading methodologies, and detailed analysis. Alsbridge solutions help your business become flexible and transparent for industry changes, quick decision-making, and new market prospects.”
