With 34 bowl games there will be 68 picks with analysis and handicapping as part of the most popular membership package at ScottsPicks.com and the first 4 games, 8 picks are now available to members at ScottsPicks.com.

Here's a quick preview of how Scott sees the EagleBank Bowl, New Mexico Bowl, magicJack St Petersburg Bowl and Las Vegas Bowl.

2008 Eagle Bank Bowl
In late September Navy (as a 17 point dog) beat Wake Forest 24-17. Wake had 6 turnovers in that game including 4 picks thrown by WF QB Skinner. Academy schools traditionally very solid in bowls as discipline and hard work pay off. Navy may be as healthy as they've been all season at QB but face a sold Wake defense. It took complete self destruction by the Demon Deacons for Navy to grab the first win and Skinner threw only 3 ints the rest of the season after that disaster!  Get full analysis and picks at ScottsPicks.com

2008 magicJack St Petersburg Bowl
Should be "home" game for USF but with expectations much higher for USF this season that looked within reach after a solid start came crashing down when USF finished 2-5 and fell from the Top 10 nationally to a very minor bowl game. So....do the fans care? Will they show up? Does the team care? Will they show up? Meanwhile Memphis saw 5 different QBs this season in a year with too many injuries to count. And despite it all they managed to avg 28 ppg and over 400 yards a game.

2008 New Mexico Bowl
Big question here is which team shows up and applies to both inconsistent teams. CSU played really bad at times nearly losing to a DII team early in the season and having to rally to beat very bad SDSt team; but also gave TCU and BYU all they wanted during the year. Fresno State stuck to common script for the Bulldogs, up early with some strong games but then letting down in mid-season only to finish strong.

2008 Las Vegas Bowl
First factor to consider is one of the toughest to read - the emotional factor. BYU had BCS busting hopes until they got throttled last in the season by TCU then dropped the conference title losing to Utah. Meanwhile Arizona is in their first bowl in 10 years and finished with a nice win. Also must consider that MWC teams wne 6-1 SU vs the Pac-10 this season. BYU has a solid offense but does face one of the tougher D's they've seen all year.
