Madison, Wis. – home resource, the comprehensive magazine for homeownership, has been creating confident homeowners in the Dane County area since 2000. The annual publication will soon be extending its reach by providing the same tools and resources to homebuyers and sellers in both Greater Milwaukee and Fox Valley.
“Extending the distribution of home resource into Greater Milwaukee and Fox Valley was an easy decision to make,” said Publisher Sarah Schilling. “The current housing market makes it seem like homeownership is nearly impossible, but thanks to the resources the magazine provides, we show our readers how to make it not only manageable, but how they can become confident homeowners again.”
Last year, 18,000 copies were distributed by Realtors and home inspectors directly into the hands of homeowners in the process of buying, selling, building or remodeling. In 2009, home resource will publish three distinct regional editions – Dane County, Greater Milwaukee and Fox Valley – with a projected distribution of 60,000, as well as a new interactive web site.
The magazine covers a range of topics such as what to expect during a home inspection, tips for staging a home for sale, improving the indoor environment and everything in between.
“home resource is a great tool that helps homeowners better understand and maintain their real estate investment. It is a wonderful resource that provides great advice and tips to buyers and sellers in the process of real estate acquisition,”
In addition to providing tools, tips and tricks to homebuyers, home resource has also become an invaluable business directory for local home-related service providers.
“Because home resource is a reputable source of information, I often reference it when looking to have a service done in my home,” said Katherine Stern-Smith, who moved from Chicago to a west-Madison home in early 2008.
