Appian Uses its Own Business Process Tools

Appian is the leading provider of business process management software suites. They believe in their product so much that they use the very same business process tools that are made available to their clients.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Dec 12, 2008 – Business process management or BPM is a method of optimizing business performance and is directed towards efficiently adding value to consumer services and products.

Appian’s software allows business people to write their own process applications in order to relieve the burden from their IT department and give more power to business users. The customizable software becomes tailor fitted to the users’ own preferences and places automated tracking, approval, mapping and monitoring at their fingertips. This allows them to easily adapt to continuously relentlessly changing business and market conditions.

To get an idea of how everything is working out for them, Appian has deployed more than 2.5 million seats of their Appian Enterprise BPM Suite for customers across a range of government and private-sector industries. Using their own Apian Enterprise system for process improvement, they estimate that they save $500,000 a year from reduced or eliminated license and support costs for packaged software applications, as well as through improved process efficiencies and employee productivity.

Best of all, using their own business process tools means that Appian has the added benefit of substantial insight. They know, first hand, exactly what their clients are dealing with.

For additional information about BPM or Appian software products, visit http://www.appian.com or call 703.442.8844 (US) or 011 44 207 152 1130(UK)
