SIFMA launches first investor education site for European bond market
London/Mumbai, Dec 12: The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), a global body of leading financial market players, today launched its non-commercial investor education site aiming to equip retail investors for investing in the bond market.
The site with the domain name InvestinginbondsEurope.org would specially focus on the European bond market and provide market data, information and analysis in five languages (English, French, German, Italian and Spanish), a SIFMA spokesperson said.

The website was part of SIFMA’s global investor education campaign and launched in association with various research organisations, which include Indian analytics firm Dawnay Day AV Analytics.
Commenting on the development, Shailesh Dhuri, Executive Director of the Indian firm said “this new website will help bridge the knowledge gap that exists among a large section of retail investors in regard to the obscure world of fixed income instruments. We hope the site will offer valuable inputs for various market participants.”
