Winthrop Uses Video To Communicate With Community

Dec. 11, 2008 - PRLog -- Full-service video production company, Episode XI Studios, LLC, located in Charlotte, NC is contracted by Winthrop University to produce a video to be used by the Office of Development. Multiple uses are planned for the production, to include email marketing and on campus broadcast during sporting events.

The finished production includes testimonials from Gloria Jones (a current university professor) and Vivian Carroll (President Elect of Alumni Executive Board), along with footage of various locations on the historic campus. With its humble beginnings in 1886, in a little brick chapel with 14 students, Winthrop has now blossomed into 62 different Majors with a student body population of over 6500.

As current alumni totals rise to more than 41,000, it is the goal of the Winthrop staff to offer fond memories and nostalgic feelings while viewing the broadcast. Even though the alumni pursue a myriad of different professions, the video brings each individual back and invites the viewer to relive those special Winthrop years.
