Manhattan Committee on Foreign Relations joins The United Nations High Commisson for Human Rights

The Manhattan Committee on Foreign Relations partners with The United Nations High Commission for Human Rights one day after the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Dec. 11, 2008 - PRLog -- A spokesman for the Manhattan Committee on Foreign Relations announced today that the Manhattan based Committee has officially partnered with The United Nations High Commission for Human Rights.  This announcement comes one day after the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.  

"This is a historic day for New York and a great accomplishment for our Committee.  Through the action and commitment of our nations leaders we offer hope for the future and the expectation of change through awareness, says Committee President Drew Dwyer.

The Manhattan Committee on Foreign Relations is a private, nonpartisan, member organization.  Membership is by invitation only and members generally consist of prominent persons from the political, media, military, academia, and business worlds. The American Committees on Foreign Relations were founded by the Council on Foreign Relations in 1938 and are now an independent  organization based in Washington D.C..
