Modern Healthcare conducted a thorough evaluation process along with a comprehensive survey. This survey concluded that the employee satisfaction rate was 96%, physician satisfaction at 97%, and patient satisfaction at a stellar 100%. “Creating a culture around people is the foundation of our success, people work for people – not for an organization”
Harris Methodist was founded in 2004 committed to becoming the premier provider of selected clinical services, and an organization where employees want to work, physicians want to practice, and patients receive compassionate care; a commitment unheard of in the world of healthcare. Fast forward 4 years later and Harris Methodist is now celebrating this achievement by adding to the facility to meet the growing needs of their patients.
A ribbon cutting ceremony commemorated the hospital expansion on November 21st. Doug Hawthorne, CEO of Texas Health Resources, community, business, and civic leaders were in attendance. The $5.1 expansion included two new operating rooms and ten more inpatient beds, which will be staffed with the same low 1:3 patient to nurse ratio.
Harris Methodist owners and leadership team represent a broad leadership background and have a results oriented philosophy along with a passion for employee, physician, and patient satisfaction. These accomplishments are a realization of their commitment.
