World Bible Society Launches their Season of Giving Campaign…

Dec. 10, 2008 - PRLog -- Costa Mesa, California - Topics such as the economy recessing, unemployment rising, job cuts increasing, financial systems failing, and mortgage industries crumbling have become the primary topics of many household conversations currently in the United States.  Many Americans are uncertain of the future due to income providers being laid off and inability to replace the household income or replacing at a much lower amount, thus placing stress on the family both emotionally and financially.  However when a family supports each other in good times and bad, that family remains strong; and as Americans, we are all part of the greatest family in the world.  Throughout history, Americans have had their differences of choice and freedoms, which this country was founded upon; but, in great times of need, Americans have banded together to grow stronger and support each other through troubled times…

It is with this in mind that the World Bible Society initiated a campaign to allow Americans to once again support each other in times of need.  The Season of Giving campaign has one goal in mind and that is family.  The ultimate accomplishment would be to ensure that every family in need in America can enjoy a Christmas dinner and have a gift under the tree for the children to open.  Through our campaign web site, http://www.seasonofgiving.org, Americans can offer support to fellow Americans with a donation of $13.00 to provide a Christmas meal for a family of 6 people and/or a $10.00 donation can provide a toy for a child.
