Sacramento, CA -- Mark Miller, a musician, husband and father of two young children was diagnosed with a grade 4 primary brain tumor in January, 2007. Since that time, he has chronicled his battle on the web by maintaining an extensive blog and in turn, helps others by posting his personal experiences, in-depth research and other resources that focus on brain tumor topics. In addition to the blog, when Mark was diagnosed he had just started production on a new CD, River of Faith. The direction of the songwriting quickly changed as a result.
"I felt it was important to turn this thing around and help people - my blog started a few months after my diagnosis - once I gathered my thoughts and performed a lot of research I knew it would help a lot of people so what better way to help than centralize it all on the web," said Mark. "The CD was something I planned to do anyway. I wrote from January through May. The end result was really a representation of the struggles, triumphs and true ups and downs brain tumor survivors go through when battling this disease."

"I went so far to have radiation technicians take pictures of me on the table and to place some of my MRI brain images on the blog because I want my readership to really know what it's like," said Miller. "I know how overwhelmed I was in the beginning and if I can help someone just a little bit in the beginning by sharing my own experience, then that will have made all of this worth my time".
When looking at the site, it's clear. Anyone struggling with a primary brain tumor and embarking upon treatment will understand what to expect to some extent by visiting Blogging in B Minor.
