waterprooftags.com has introduced a new low-cost waterproof shipping tag as an alternate to the highly popular Tyvek® tags. The sturdy white 7.5 mil polypropylene tags are stiffer than Tyvek® and can be written on with china markers even when the tag is wet.
Construction companies, marinas, Christmas Tree growers, retailers of patio furniture and kayaks, and fish processors use both blank tags and custom printed tags as an economical replacement for soggy card tags. Tags are attached with plastic cable ties, tag wires, strings or rubber bands. China markers (grease pencils) and permanent felt markers add variable information. The tags are waterproof, weatherproof and hold up underwater and in outdoor winter conditions. Bright waterproof ink colors allow for custom designs and color coding.
