Dec. 10, 2008 - PRLog -- Northshore Chicago, IL  -- Lea Brit, Founder and Director of the International Color Centers & Institute (ICC&I) announces the launch of a blog covering the latest in color information and insights into color use in historic events.

Brit states, "Hannah Montana©, Dali and ENRON did It. Michelle Obama does it. You do too. You use color. Everyone does.  But what do the colors you choose really tell others about you?"

International color expert, speaker, writer, consultant, Lea Brit, plus other professionals, present a wide variety of stories and answer readers' questions based on years of research and available color information.

In the www.ColorGossip.com blog, Hot Topics addresses questions such as, “What message does Hannah Montana’s© pink and violet signature color combination really convey to young people and their parents?” or, “How does an award winning actresses’ gown tip you off about her movie and her love choices?” and, “What does a politician’s tie telegraph about his policies and ideas?”

GemGrams© covers international history, legend and lore (with a flagship piece on Salvador Dali's jewelry designs and the rubies within them). Lea Brit, a gem and mineral expert, offers a series on the significance of color and gem choices throughout history and in current applications. Brit says,"Salvador Dali’s beautiful ruby-laden pieces have an unheard message for our departing administration -- as pertinent today as it was years ago."

The Blast from the Past section covers the colors within historical events and their real significance.  Brit's first entry reveals the disastrous color and image choices made by ENRON. The www.ColorGossip.com blog’s inaugural posting includes assigned entries deemed too controversial to print in newspapers at the time of their original writing.

"In today’s freefall economy, the story on ENRON was a warning no one looked at. The colors were there to warn people against trusting ENRON. But like the Emperor with no clothes on, the media didn’t want to look at the genuine message in their colors and imagery," says Lea Brit. "We answer most inquires from the media within 24 hours.  However please bear in mind that we are teachers, researchers and consultants who work and travel extensively.
