2008 AUDELCO Award Nominee Singer/Performer Darryl Jovan Williams (the 1996 $10,000 Gold Prize Winner of Savannah On Stage’ American Traditions Competition, and featured performer in plays like “Mama I Want to Sing”, “Smokey Joe’s Café”), steps into the role of “Judas Iscariot” for Louis St. Louis’ gospel adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Jesus Christ Superstar” premiering at the Alliance Theater Atlanta.
Mr. Williams who has worked with artists such as gospel legends Shirley Caesar, Dorinda Clark Cole, Dorothy Norwood, Vicky Winans, Ann Nesby and Gladys Knight also serves as vocal arranger for the entire ‘Superstar’
Performances begin January 14, 2009 and runs through February 22, 2009 at the Alliance Theater of Atlanta.
