BOSTON, MA – The Knowledge Foundation announced today that their upcoming alternative energy conferences, Lithium Mobile Power and Fuel Cells Durability & Performance, will be webcast live from Las Vegas from December 8-12, 2008.
Utilizing the latest web conferencing technology, delegates can now participate virtually in these cutting-edge meetings. Webcast subscribers will be able to view presentation slides, watch and listen to live video and audio feeds, and will even be able to ask questions of the presenters. As an added bonus, webcast attendees will also receive access to the recorded sessions on-demand after the conference is over.
About the Conferences
Lithium Mobile Power will guide attendees from technology and materials development, through device packaging and integration, to applications in a mobile power marketplace. Topics to be addressed include safety, testing, hybrid and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle applications, materials challenges, advances in anode and cathode technology, as well as new developments in battery charging technologies.
Fuel Cells Durability & Performance will provide real-world solutions to some of the most critical challenges facing fuel cells commercialization. The U.S. Department of Energy will open the conference with a review of the DOE’s transportation, stationary and portable fuel cell research and development activities. Other issues to be addressed include electrocatalysts, testing and protocols, membranes, minimizing platinum usage, and other factors affecting durability and performance.
