Previously, Bert Fish Medical Center was using an IPSec Client remote access solution that made meeting stringent security requirements and service levels complex and costly to administer. The hospital needed an efficient way to provide diverse groups working both inside and outside the hospital with secure remote access to critical systems and devices. Hospital personnel, physicians, third-party vendors and IT administrators require remote access to specific proprietary medical and business applications in order to do their jobs.
