Fooding Week in Paris
Coming soon to Paris is the ninth installment of a weeklong series of culinary events for the gastronomically inclined hosted by Fooding.
Just as www.mykeystoparis.com is quickly becoming "the" place insiders know and trust for information on renting a luxury apartment in Paris, Fooding.com has rightly earned a reputation as "the" place to go for information on food and fine dining in Paris.
Gourmands will have much to celebrate for these fun-filled events, which include a celebration of the history of cooking and some of Paris' most famous "names" in cuisine. There will also be some surprise appearances by exciting culinary stars.
Some of the events include the Gallery of Culinary Evolution, where chefs will gather from some of Paris' biggest restaurants and hot spots, from Grand Véfour and Lasserre to La Tour d'Argent, Taillevent, l'Espadon, and others.
The TGV's special reservation area will also let participants to make reservations for two at some of Paris' most exclusive restaurants (Spring, Unico, Guilo Guilo, L'Ami Jean, La Bigarrade, and Le Comptoir du Relais).
One of the most fun events will no doubt be the cognac party at Lapérouse, the famous Seine restaurant with its little jewel-like salons. Entry is by password only, or with any sort of mischievous costume.
The events will culminate on Dec. 8 at 8:30 in the evening, when the winners of Fooding's 2008 Awards will be announced at a private gala.
