The holiday season celebration is in full force this December, with Columbus IT Professionals gathering to support charities, start-up companies, and one another at the next IT Community event hosted by IT Martini. This is the third in a series of events hosted by IT Martini, a social media startup focused on growing the IT Community in Columbus.
The IT Community response has been remarkable: attendance has grown from over 200 at the first event in June, to over 300 at the second event in September. The third event, IT Martini Hour 3: Festivus for the TECH in Us, is channeling this response to support the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio and Buckeye Ranch charities with a fundraising goal of $5000.
Bringing together IT Martini hosted events with local charities is a “natural progression”
IT Martini Hour 3 matches the IT Community’s civic focus with innovation, which is illustrated by the six startups scheduled to make an appearance: GotGameRecruiting.com, JoeMetric.com, KidsLinked.com, Toobla.com, ATMCentralDev.com, and Servee.com. Each Columbus-based startup has an opportunity to informally demonstrate their product, then receive feedback from the diverse group of IT Professional attendees.
