PRLog (Press Release)
- Dec. 4, 2008 -
Popular consumer website www.uk-energy-
saving.com has launched a new site feature with their ‘Go Green in Your Home’ energy saving house illustration. UK Energy Saving contains large amounts of information on all aspects of energy saving and related topics, and always aims to make the website easy to navigate. Features such as their Energy Saving Calculator allow visitors to easily see at a glance how to conserve energy and the cost and carbon savings which can be made. The new ‘Go Green in Your Home’ page is yet another user-friendly addition to the site.
The ‘Go Green in Your Home’ page features a stylistic image of a house with details of how to save energy and water in each part of the property. Many of the suggestions cost little or nothing to implement, allowing visitors to quickly peruse the information and start making savings immediately. Many of the suggestions are also highlighted with links to other pages within the site in order to provide additional information.
Hayley Jones, Web Marketing Director for UK Energy Saving, explains the thinking behind the new feature. “As always, at www.uk-energy-
saving.com we are looking for new ways to provide information to our visitors and to get our energy saving message across as succinctly as possible. We hope that the new ‘Go Green in Your Home’ illustration will allow visitors to quickly and easily identity areas where savings could be made before seeking more detailed information from other sections of the site.”
Visit UK Energy Saving at www.uk-energy-
saving.com. The ‘Go Green in Your Home’ page is now live at www.uk-energy-
green-home.html and it is hoped that it will prove popular with site visitors.
