BATMAN XMAS SURPRISE
-The Bubbles for Kids Organization is surprising a home for children on Christmas Day with some famous faces. 2X Monster Jam Racing World Champion and driver of the Batman monster truck, John Seasock and members of national recording artists, The Poptart Monkeys will visit this group home located in North-Eastern Pennsylvania on Christmas morning. Speed Channel will have a camera crew on hand to film the surprise for an upcoming special on Monster Jam and John Seasock. The world famous rock group "Three Doors Down" has sent 40 autographed copies of their latest CD. The Game Stop corporation will be making a donation for the event. Evensville Race Way, Berwick Pa is donating passes as well as continuing efforts throught the year for the home. Ernie Ball Guitar String Company has donated Ernie Ball T-shirts for each of the children. The Learning Tree, Hazleton Pa is making a large donation for this event. Angel Hair, Pottsville Pa is making a large donation for this event. Feld Entertainment (Owner of large enities like Ringling & Barnium and Bailey Circus) will also be donating to the XMAS Surprise. This is a situation that Bubbles herself can all too well sympathize with.
"Christmas to me is for children."-Bubbles Kurtz explains. "These children will not have that energized excitement that all other children feel when they wake that morning, and some have even mentioned that they hate Christmas because in the past it has only brought them nothing but heartache. Bubbles for kids wants to change that" Kathleen Kurtz, BFK Director.
What can you do to help?
1. Donate food for the event (feeding 70+ people)
2. Grant a wish from their wish list it will change the meaning of Christmas for these children.
3. Donations are also being accepted at http://www.bubblesforkids.com for items still needed for event such as personalized hoodies and gifts from the children's wish lists.
