Dec. 4, 2008 - PRLog -- Tpad the leading provider of Internet Telephony services, and fring™ the world's leading mobile VoIP provider have signed an affiliate agreement in order to compete in the lucrative mobile VoIP market.

fring will provide Tpad users with a dedicated version of the fring application, which will be available via the Tpad website. This gives customers the capability of easily making free SIP calls on their mobile phones or standard low cost VoIP calls to any landline or mobile in the world.

The fring client, downloaded via simple free SMS from the Tpad website (www.tpad.com), pre-configures the users' Tpad SIP credentials automatically and users benefit from their fring-supported mobile handset.

Users simply choose a contact from their fring contact list, and select Tpad VoIP to directly dial over 3G, GPRS or Wi-Fi according to their preference. With fring, Tpad users can also communicate with all of their Skype®, ICQ, Twitter, AIM®, Yahoo!™, Google Talk™ and Windows Live Messenger (MSN) buddies from just one integrated contact list.

Tpad users will now be able to connect to the global fring community, share experiences and remain connected with their online friends using a variety of communication options embedded into the fring client.

fring is a free, downloadable mobile phone application enabling MoIP (mobile VoIP) calls, real-time presence and live chat with multiple IM providers over mobile data networks or Wi-Fi connections.

fring mVoIP application offers real mobile independence to all users of mobile phones and smartphones. It allows them to roam freely on wireless networks (GPRS, 3G, and WiFi) and enjoy the benefits of multiple IM and SIP providers from jut one integrated contact list.

fring is enhanced with real-time contact availability to help users select, among other factors, the best call provider before dialling, based on the recipient's availability, reception quality and call cost. Users can also save money by utilizing free Wi-Fi Internet access or fixed Internet data plans over 3G or GPRS, instead of mobile airtime (GSM) minutes. fring is PC and operator independent, and does not require any dedicated hardware.

'Tpad aims to provide customers with ever growing calling options and the current trend is mobile VoIP', comments Steven Johns, Marketing Manager of Tpad. 'The recently signed affiliate agreement with fring™ will allow our Tpad users to freely communicate with each other across different networks worldwide. The cooperation with fring is just the beginning of our range of new VoIP services, as we have recently just released our new business VoIP IP PBX solutions for SME's.'

Avi Shechter, co- founder and CEO of fring commented: 'We are delighted to welcome Tpad and its users to the global fring community. We are witnessing something of a sea change in the world of mobile, with internet community and communication giving rise to open access and greater choice for the mobile user than ever before. We welcome relationships with progressive, forward thinking companies like Tpad who share this vision.'
