Being in love with Indonesia tourism, several youngsters that had announced voltras.com, a travel services provider, just gave birth to their second baby; voltras.net. A community based website that was built to be a place to share traveling stories and pictures. “That way, travelers will be able to explore other places and very soon it will reveal many secreted places that are now invisible,” described Herlia Adisasmita, the spokesperson of voltras.net.
Voltras.net is hoping that the home for travelers website will contribute something valuable for Indonesia’s tourism industry. “Our main purpose is to open the world’s eyes and let them see the beauty of our country,” said Herlia. In the future she hopes voltras.net would be more than a virtual home for the travelers. “We want to be a real family, meet each other in person and travel together,” she ended.
Though the website was developed by Indonesians, but voltras.net uses English as the main language. Though, it doesn’t limit every member to write in their own languages. Regularly, voltras.net chooses the best travel stories and the best picture from members’ posts.
Voltras.net always opens its door for any institutions that might want to work together for similar mission and vision; to support world’s travel and tourism industry, especially Indonesia.
