Did you know?  For nursing home patients covered by Medicaid, all of their monthly income is contributed to the cost of their care and they are allotted just $40 per month for personal needs items.

Caring Regift focuses on helping nursing home patients, but they also help needy families and children. Donors can avoid the hassle of long return lines and donate unwanted gifts to help others. It’s a great way to give to charity and recycle at the same time. A list of commonly requested items is available on their website, www.CaringRegift.org. Gifts may be shipped via any method to Caring Regift. Volunteers sort and distribute the items to those in need throughout the year. After all, isn't it the thought that counts?
