Sonoma County– Karen DeWick, District Manager of H&R Block is pleased to announce her office’s involvement with the Redwood Empire Food Bank. Together, H&R Block hopes to help them reach this year’s goal of 185,000 pounds of food and $160,000 for the holidays.
Sonoma County’s H&R Block Tax Professionals came to DeWick with the idea of having food drive during their yearly training in preparation for the upcoming tax season. DeWick then encouraged tax professionals to bring in a cans of food. The donation barrel overflowed for their generous contributions to the Redwood Empire Food Bank.
“We not only work in this community, but we live and shop here as well,” said, DeWick “H&R Block is proud to be able to help the Redwood Empire Food Bank with donation barrels in our offices.”
